Welcome at the DBRT Ticino

An enthusiastic group of dutch citizens in Ticino has founded in 2010 a DBRT based on the model already existing in other parts of Switzerland.

The idea was well received by the many dutch citizens living and/or working in Ticino. The annual reception for the Queen’s birthday was the ideal occasion to spread the word. During 2010 three lunches have taken place and in the meantime there are about 70 members, and these lunches have offered an excellent occasion to get to know each other and to exchange ideas and experiences. A Christmas dinner for the dutch community has been the perfect conclusion of the first year of activitiy of the DBRT Lugano.

In 2011 we hope to provide a solid basis for the DBRT in Lugano, making it for every dutch citizen a valuable completion of their daily activities.

Also for 2011 three lunches are foreseen as well as a reception for the Queen’s birthday on may 2nd, and a golf-competition in Ascona for all DBRT members in Switzerland.

The lunches take place in Grand Hotel Eden in Lugano-Paradiso and once a year in Ascona. The membershipfee is Sfr. 50.- per year and the price for the lunch is Sfr.65.- (all incl.).
